Product profile


The CY-GP series intelligent HV variable frequency speed control system is a high-high voltage source VFD that employs the power unit series multi-level technology and outputs voltages of 6 KV and 10 KV directly. The company aims for the design purpose of high reliability, easy operation and great performance to fulfill the urgent needs of energy conservation and production technology improvement in fans, pumps and the like. To reduce the installation and modification period of the HV variable frequency speed control system to the maximum, the system employs an integrated design, which incorporates the transformer cabinet, power cabinet, control cabinet (optional from HV switchboard and bypass cabinet) and all other parts and internal wiring, leaving only the connections of HV input, HV output, LV control power and control signal cable to users.

In order to fulfill the requirements of modification projects and reduce the investment in new projects, every single functional component in the CY-GP series HV variable frequency speed control system may be installed step by step, ensuring that no accident occurs during the transportation and installation of the HV variable frequency speed control system.

1) Adaptive to severe environments

●Operational under 40°C without de-rating;

●Brilliant cooling design, cooling fan with large flow rate on top of the cabinet, low wind resistance, high dust resistance, readily removable intake strainer;

2) Superior performance

●Integrated with three control methods, i.e. V/F control, vector control with speed sensor and vector control without speed sensor.

●Comes with an operation panel for remote control, making it much more adaptive to site conditions and especially suitable for applications without a DCS central control room.

3) Greater reliability

●Perfect current output of positive spinor wave without having to install a filter;

●Using diodes for full-wave rectification with no power factor compensator required;

●The efficiency of the overall machine reaches more than 96%, and the one of both the primary transformer and VFD, over 98%;

●High-high structure with a direct high voltage output of 6 KV (or 10 KV) without having to modify the motor;

●Power units with auto-bypass function. Operation of a bypassed phase will be regulated from Class N to N-1 to maintain the relative output; 

●Forward/backward-revs-tracking starting (runaway starting), especially suitable for fan-wise loads.
