The CY-KYN28A-12 series indoor AC metal-armoured mid-set switchgear (hereinafter referred to as the switchgear) is an advanced type of middle voltage switchgear. It applies to three-phase AC power systems with a rated voltage of 12 KV and rated frequency of 50 Hz to receive and distribute power and control, protect and inspect circuits.

Ambient temperature

•Ambient temperature: max. temperature +40°C; min. temperature -10°C;

•Ambient humidity: daily average relative humidity ≤ 95%; monthly average relative humidity ≤ 90%;

•Altitude: below 1,000 m;

•Seismic resistance: Seismic intensity should not exceed magnitude 8;

•The ambient air shall not contain any significant pollutant such as corrosive or combustible gas, steam, etc.;

•Free from severe pollution and frequent intense vibration. The severity design shall fulfill the requirements of Class 1; and

•For use in conditions other than the normal ones specified by GB3906, consultation shall be carried out between the user and the manufacturer.

Note: 

1. Electric heating shall be employed in case of relative humidity greater than 70%; 

2. For any location with an altitude over 1,000 m, the stipulations of JB/Z102-71 shall apply.
