Product overview:


The CY-MNS LV draw-out switchboard (hereinafter referred to as the switchboard) is a nationally advanced LV draw-out switchgear developed in reference to the RMNS series low voltage switchboard manufactured by a Swiss company ABB and comprehensively upgraded by us. It comprises of standardized, serial modules, and the drawers are provided with dependable mechanical interlocks for better safety and reliability of users’ operation. This switchboard applies to three-phase five-line power supply systems with AC 50 - 60 Hz and the rated isolation voltage and working voltage no greater than 660 V. It is good for power stations, substations, industrial and mining enterprises, mansions and hotels, airports, ports and communication center such as radio & television, as a control to power generation, distribution and conversion and electric equipment, and has its main busbar to receive VAR compensation via a capacitance compensation cabinet.


Conditions of use:


•The ambient air temperature shall be higher than +40°C or lower than -5°C, and the average in 24 h shall not exceed +35°C. The relative humidity of the ambient air, when the max. temperature is +40°C, shall not exceed 50%. Higher relative humidity is allowed at a lower temperature, e.g. 90% at +20°C, however, it shall be noted that accidental condensation might occur in case of temperature variations.

•Used indoor, at an altitude of no higher than 2,000 m.

•To be installed at locations free from intense vibration and impact, and corrosion to elements.

Structural features:

This switchboard has introduced the advanced technology of the Swiss company ABB and been subject to enhancement on its base, adapting it to our national circumstances. For the cabinet body, C-section materials with the module of 25 mm are employed together with the connections for frames and drawers meeting the varying requirements. In MCC cabinets, high-strength flame-retardant engineering plastic components are commonly used to provide better safety performance. In addition, with the upgrades based on foreign function models and in combination with the module of 200 mm, it is more favorable to the design requirement of mixed loading of PC and MCC cabinets. The drawers and cabinets are provided with reliable interlocks to prevent switching off with load when the switch is electrified, thus improving the safety. The cabinet body is generally assembled with galvanized cold-rolled steel sheets, but aluminum-coated galvanized iron sheets may be used when required so by the customers.
