In 1999, Shanghai Datun Energy Co., Ltd was established by Datun Coal and Electricity (Group) Co., Ltd as the main founder; in August 2001, Shanghai Energy went public. In May 2006, Shanghai Datun Energy Co., Ltd became a holding subsidiary of China Coal Energy Co., Ltd. Registered address of the Company is Pudong Shanghai and its production base locates in Peixian Jiangsu. The Company mainly engages in coal production, washing & processing, coal mine construction, pithead power generation, aluminum processing, railway transport, machine manufacturing, professional & technical training and related engineering technical service etc. Main categories of coal include 1/3 coking coal, gas coal and fat coal, which are high-quality coking coal and steam coal. The Headquarter has 3 coal production mines, 1 coal dressing center and 4 coal dressing plants. Through technical upgrading and improvement, dressing of all coal products can be realized. In addition, the Company has Xinjiang 106# coal mine, Weizigou coal mine and three technical innovation mines of Shanxi Yuquan Coal Industry Co., Ltd.
